Dance de la Terre is an original, welcoming, beginner-friendly, community oriented blend of natural, organic West African movement, accented and embellished by the most accessible elements of ballet, modern and jazz. This playful fusion produces a unique, FUN, contemporary style of dance and fitness that gets your beautiful, strong body moving, while offering extended lines, dynamic shapes and joyous self expression!
PLUS, a little bit of Magick! Each class is a dance ceremony, intended to dance more Love, Light and JOY into our Collective Field. Beginning with an invocational prayer and an oracle message, followed by “calling in” the Directions and the Elements, we establish a Sacred Space, and Intentional Circle, in which to dance and celebrate the Wild Natural Divine, within and without.
