Tending Winter & Calling in Spring

While we continue to weather the cold long nights and dark mornings of Winter, the Solstice has nevertheless brought back the Sun, and we turn our Magickal attention to the coming Springtime, just beginning to dawn on the Eastern horizon.

Springtime Magick is made of crisp morning Air, filled with birdsong and the growing Light of a brand new, Ancient Cycle. It awakens our childlike qualities of playfulness, imagination and curiosity. It uplifts our thoughts, and brings new inspiration for the visions, plans and ideas, dreamed up by Winter.

With the rising energies of Spring, aligned with the Direction of East, the Element of Air, and the Realm of the Mind, this session of Dancing the Directions will honor and incorporate the potency of our breath in order to heal, cleanse, uplift and focus our thoughts, our imagination, visualization and meditation, while we get Know Ourselves.  We’ll harness the creative power of Our Word, of song, sound, and poetry, and begin a playful, curious exploration of oracle cards and Tarot. In reverent relationship with the Spiritual Allies of the Springtime, East, Air and Mind, we’ll embody our Magick with an intentional Dance Ceremony which honors and celebrates the Beauty, Grace, Wisdom and Guidance all around us, and within us.
